Grilled Spicy Shrimp Skewers

Serves 4-6


2 lbs. Large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 large garlic cloves, chopped

¼ cup olive oil

1 tsp. Salt

¾ tsp. Cayenne pepper

2 tsp. Smoked paprika

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp. hot sauce

Lemon slices

Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes


In a bowl add chopped garlic with salt; stir in cayenne pepper and smoked paprika along with the olive oil, lemon juice and hot sauce. In a large bowl add the shrimp with the garlic oil mixture and marinate for 20 minutes.

Preheat grill to medium heat. Add the shrimp onto the wooden skewers and grill for 2-3 minutes per side or until slightly opaque. Brush oil mixture on lemons and grill for 2 minutes per side. Top grilled shrimp skewers with grilled lemon slices.
